Child Talks 2026 Application Form

Child Talks is an event celebrating World Children's Day where children tell a story or share an experience that really matters to them. Child Talks takes place before a live audience and is streamed to schools across Ireland.

Child Talks 2026 takes place at The Helix, Dublin on World Children’s Day, Friday, 20th November

We are now looking for our speakers for Child Talks 2026!

Applications open to young people aged 12-18 on the day of the event.
*Speakers must be at least 12 years of age and under 18 at the time of applying

Have you something to say about growing up in Ireland today? Or is there something you would like to change about life in Ireland?
The young people selected will take to the Helix stage in front of up to 1,000 people in November

What issues matter to you?
Mental health.. AI.. phone bans.. school pressure.. disability issues.. the Irish language – nothing is off the table. This is your chance to be heard.

    Applications open to young people aged 12-18 on the day of the event.
    (must be under 18 at the time of applying).

    We will only use your details to contact you about Child Talks. If you share information that suggests you may be in danger or at risk, we have a duty to report this.

    If you are selected, you and a parent/guardian will be asked to fill out consent forms. To read our privacy policy click here.

    You can also send us your application by video or voice note to WhatsApp 087 344 6564. Maximum 60 seconds and making sure to answer all the questions.*

    * All files will be deleted once the selection process is complete.
